God,
great, living, present, beautiful in all your creation,
be blessed for this time of celebration of your work of creation,
which is not merely a setting for life but a covenant with humanity.
For your Breath that hovered over the waters from the very beginning,
for the morning star and the stars of the night,
set in the firmament,
for fire, water and wind!
Everything speaks to us of You: Blessed be You!
Through Your Word, You ceaselessly create every element of the cosmos today:
the teeming life of creatures in the water, on the earth and in the heavens,
Everything speaks to us of You: Blessed be You!
Through Christ, the ‘Alpha and Omega’ of the universe,
matter is sanctified.
From the infinitely great to the infinitely small,
everything has meaning and finds its purpose,

Through this participation in communal prayer within the cosmic liturgy,
where all—humans, animals and plants—unite to praise You,
