Welcome to the Carmel of Peace!
We invite you to share a little of our life, our prayer and our work. The monastery is situated on a hill in the country setting where the silence of nature helps to refocus on the Essential. Accomodations are simple but comfortable to facilitate contemplation. Please fill out the request form below, specifying the dates you would like to stay (usually between 3 and 8 days) and how many you will be. It is helpful if you bring your own sheets. Financial participation is left to your discretion, depending on your income.

You can come to the Carmel via Mâcon-ville or Mâcon-Loché TGV station, then take a bus to Cluny-ville (information on viamobigo.fr). Someone will pick you up at the Cluny Ville bus stop
