Lord our God,
At this special time of prayer for creation,
we ask you to help us receive it as a gift
bestowed upon us freely,
to work for its preservation,
to turn our hearts
so that we may walk in this world doing good as You,
Lord, have done,
and as You ask us to continue to do,
inspired by the Spirit whom You never cease to send to us today and for ever and ever.
