Lord our God,
the experience of faith has taught us that You are the God of deliverance.
Your Son, risen from the dead, has opened the doors of our tombs once and for all.
He who bears Your Name: God the Savior
A Name that proclaims deliverance for those exploited by corrupt powers;
A Name that calls for respect for those who are deprived of a place in society and of dignity;
A Name that gives a voice to those condemned to silence;
A Name to be spoken with faith and love, for it calls us to become disciples,
to live in the present moment of grace.
Lord, through Him, may our lives become a praise to Your Name, blessed forever!
