God,
you alone are holy, but your holiness is not a sacred enclosure; it spreads like light,
it is breathed like air. Your holiness is relational.
And you know that we too are nothing without the relationships
that have woven our lives, all those with whom we have shared the road, the bread,
the days and nights, shoulder to shoulder, remain bound to our flesh.
We want to entrust them to you, each and every one, with the intuition that the love
that still lives in us for them is linked to yours.
Take care of them, give them this happiness over which evil no longer has any hold.
Strengthen our confidence that nothing can separate us from your love, Jesus Lord,
