Lord our God,
we bless you for your Creation, this earth from which we were born
and which you have entrusted to us to care for,
so that we may fill it with our love, our sharing, and our forgiveness.
Ever since the rainbow in the clouds—that sign of the covenant between You and the earth—
You have never ceased to forge bonds,
to leave traces of Your invisible presence,
to invite us to choose life.
Despite your eagerness to see us live up to your Word,
you always begin anew,
you renew the offer of your Covenant,
you wish to inscribe your Law of love deep within our beings, upon our hearts,
so that all may know the Tenderness that sustains them…
